Nursery Progress

The nursery is starting to come together! We just need to get some stuff on the walls and I think that we will be ready for baby!

The rocker in the picture was the one that my mom used to rock me in, as a baby. It doesn't match, but I can't stand the thought of altering it in any way.

We are so blessed to have such a gifted Meme! She handmade all of the baby's bedding for us. We love it and are so excited to have such a special gift!

This is Aurora. Addison, our four year old niece bought her with her own money for the baby. She said that she can wait for the baby in her bed until she comes home. How sweet is that? I cried.

This was another Christmas gift from Meme. She made this bulletin board to match the bedding:

And my very talented friend, Melanie is custom painting a beautiful canvas with the baby's name to hang over the crib. I cannot wait to see it! I know that it will be amazing!

My friend Luann found this painting for me and it is perfect in the room! I love it!

  3. 1) LOVE the bedding/colors/painting

    2) LOVE that you are using such a special rocking chair... I actually think the contrasting honey color looks beautiful against the dark woods and blue walls

    3) The doll from Addison is the sweetest thing ever.

    SO exciting :) :) :)
